The vehicle overview provides a central hub for monitoring all vehicles under management, including your own fleet and customer vehicles. This section displays real-time status, operational metrics, and management controls. You can access the vehicle overview by selecting “Vehicles” from the main menu (may also be called “Boats”, “Motorcycles”, etc. depending on your vehicle type). The vehicle table shows all vehicles with their key information:
  • Vehicle name and type (incl. organizational ids or names)
  • Connection status (online/offline)
  • Subscription status (active/inactive)
  • Battery / fuel level
  • Errors and warnings
  • Distance traveled and operation hours
You can use various filters and search options to find specific vehicles or groups of vehicles based on criteria like status, name, errors, etc. Depending on if this is your own vehicle or a client vehicle under management, a tag “client” will be shown next to the vehicle name. You have less access rights for client vehicles, e.g. you cannot edit all vehicle settings, see a vehicle’s position, etc.
Depending on your access rights, you may also see the vehicle in the sidebar.
Clicking on a vehicle opens the vehicle details view, where you can see more detailed information and manage the vehicle. This includees a “data” section, where individual data points (that you have access to) are visible. Clicking on a numerical data point opens a chart view with historical data. Below the data section, you can find a usage overview that shows distance traveled and operation hours in a given year.

Notes and documents

The notes and documents section allows you to manage vehicle-specific notes and documents. This includes notes that are assigned to an individual day (“Calendar messages”), as well as general notes that are not date-specific. Additionally, this will show documents uploaded by you, or given access to by a manufacturer.

Errors, maintenance and support

The errors, maintenance, and support section provides an overview of current vehicle errors, maintenance status, and support tickets. The error summary tab shows all current and past errors. Clicking on an error opens a detailed view with more information about the error, possible causes, and recommended actions. The maintenance tab shows the current maintenance status, upcoming maintenance tasks, and maintenance history. You can complete maintenance tasks directly from this view by clicking on the “Mark as done” button, or by “Add past maintenance” for maintenance that was done outside of the system. The support tab shows all support tickets related to the vehicle. Clicking on a ticket opens the detailed view, where you can see the conversation history and add new messages.
You may not have access to all support tickets, depending on your organization’s permissions and settings.

Settings and notifications

In order to assist your customers with vehicle configuration, you can access certain vehicle settings directly from the vehicle details view. This includes settings like vehicle name, access, subscription, sensor and actuator configuration, home locations, display settings, etc. Additionally, you can configure notification settings for the vehicle.
The notification settings are specific to your personal user account, and do not affect the vehicle or other users.
The notification screen shows all past notifications for the vehicle. Clicking on “Mark as read” will mark all notifications as read.
